Textile Machinery
A wide variety of Textile machines such as OE Spinning, Ring frames, Carding, Clothes manufacturing. For ring frame application proper synchronisation between main spindle drive and auxiliary ring frame, drafting unit and doffer unit is very important. This synchronisation is required even if mains power fails. KEB Drives with its unique “Power Off” function enables to achieve this requirement. Because of this function built in the drive customer avoids costly investment in Batteries and avoids break down of machine due to thread breakage.
Steel Rolling Mill
Continuous Shear: Continuous shears are used in high speed bar mill. This is a low inertia shear and rotating continuously by induction motor. The divertor tube driven by servo motor is moved to cut the bar of desired length. The bar is coming continuously from the rolling mill and every time when divertor is moved the bar gets cut under the continuously rotating blades. In this case the bar is cut into pieces of desired length. The accuracy of cut length is very important. For this purpose Bharat Bijlee gives solution with BBL make induction motor fitted with absolute encoder for driving cutter blades, KEB drive with position synchronisation feature for induction motor, servo drive with servo motor for divertor tube, multi axis controller for axis control, touch screen HMI and field sensor. On sensing the front end of the bar the blade motor is put in position synchronisation with bar movement. This gives very good cut accuracy even for 1st cut.

AC Motor(Medium Voltage Motors)
Bharat Bijlee is counted as a forerunner in HV and MV motors manufacturers in India. These motors are manufactured using Bharat Bijlee's tried and tested DCCA technology, offering high performance and better reliability with the use of dual cooling circuits. These HV and MV motors are suitable for use in various industrial sectors such as Power Generation, Mining, Chemical, Cement, Iron and Steel, Paper and Pulp, Water, Waste Water treatment etc. The motors can serve various applications such as Pump, Compressor, Conveyor, Mill, Fan, Blower, etc. Bharat Bijlee uses a new efficient cooling system called Dual Circuit Cooling Arrangement (DCCA) for all its High Voltage motors in frame 315 and above. This technology consists of two independent cooling systems which improves the overall cooling of the motor. The primary cooling circuit is the regular stator casing with cooling fins. The shaft mounted external fan blows air over the body fin and cools the motor by forced convection and radiation. The secondary internal cooling circuit consists of rotor with vent holes, an impeller and ventilating passage on the stator body. The air inside the motor is circulated by the impeller which passes through the ventilating passage where it gets cooled on its way from non-driving end to the driving end by the primary circuit. This cool air then passes over the DE overhangs and through the rotor vents to the non-driving end and on its way absorbs heat from the overhangs and from the rotor. This heated air again passes through the impeller to the ventilating ducts and the cycle repeats. Availability and Reliability are two words that we absolutely abide by at Bharat Bijlee. Our commitment to customer satisfaction makes us one of the most trusted MV motor manufacturers in India.

Bharat Bijlee is the first in India to manufacture and introduce Super Premium Efficiency IE4 motor. Branded as SynchroVERT® our range of IE4 motors combine high efficiency with a host of technologically superior features. Electric motors are estimated to consume about 65% of the electrical energy consumed by industry. Moreover, energy costs over the typical life cycle of a motor can be as high as twenty times the original capital cost of the motor. Energy efficient motors thus offer an opportunity to significantly reduce energy costs and their collateral environmental effects. Increasingly, there is a strong economic-and environmental-case for choosing high efficiency motors over conventional ones. Instead of repairing or rewinding a failed motor, organizations may profitably consider replacing them with energy efficient motors or motor driven systems that can bring about significant reduction in energy consumption.

Available in 2Q (single direction) and 4Q (fully regenerative) variants, the range comprises 5 compact chassis sizes with models rated from 12A to 2250A output current. The PL/X boasts an extremely versatile operating input voltage range of 12V – 500VAC as standard. Options are available for 600V and 690VAC input.
PMDC Motors
A PMDC motor does not have a field winding on the stator frame, instead relying on PMs to provide the magnetic field against which the rotor field interacts to produce torque. Compensating windings in series with the armature may be used on large motors to improve commutation under load. Because this field is fixed, it cannot be adjusted for speed control. PM fields (stators) are convenient in miniature motors to eliminate the power consumption of the field winding. Most larger DC motors are of the "dynamo" type, which have stator windings. Historically, PMs could not be made to retain high flux if they were disassembled; field windings were more practical to obtain the needed amount of flux. However, large PMs are costly, as well as dangerous and difficult to assemble; this favors wound fields for large machines. To minimize overall weight and size, miniature PM motors may use high energy magnets made with neodymium or other strategic elements; most such are neodymium-iron-boron alloy. With their higher flux density, electric machines with high-energy PMs are at least competitive with all optimally designed singly fed synchronous and induction electric machines. Miniature motors resemble the structure in the illustration, except that they have at least three rotor poles (to ensure starting, regardless of rotor position) and their outer housing is a steel tube that magnetically links the exteriors of the curved field magnets.
Universal (AC/DC) Motors
The universal motor is often referred to as an AC series motor. The universal motor is very similar to a DC series motor in construction, but is modified slightly to allow the motor to operate properly on AC power. This type of electric motor can operate well on AC because the current in both the field coils and the armature (and the resultant magnetic fields) will alternate (reverse polarity) synchronously with the supply. Hence the resulting mechanical force will occur in a consistent direction of rotation, independent of the direction of applied voltage, but determined by the commutator and polarity of the field coils. Universal motors have high starting torque, can run at high speed, and are lightweight and compact. They are commonly used in portable power tools and equipment, as well as many house hold appliances. They're also relatively easy to control, electromechanically using tapped coils or electronically. However, the commutator has brushes that wear, so they are much less often used for equipment that is in continuous use. In addition, partly because of the commutator universal motors are typically noisy. Even when used with AC power these types of motors are able to rotate at a frequency well above the mains supply frequency, and because most electric motor properties improve with speed, this means they can be lightweight and powerful. However, universal motors are usually relatively inefficient- around 30% for smaller motors and up to 70-75% for larger ones.

Since, position loop is incorporated at drive end, gives better accuracy of mould positioning and ultimately better tolerance in the final product. For Hybrid Injection machine, the solution includes Servo Pump, Servo motor and servo drive. With this solution our customers have achieved energy saving up to 60-70% as compared to the conventional machine.

The facility, often offered as a product to automotive OEM’s, allows engine operation in different operating regimes and offers measurement of several physical variables associated with the engine operation. A sophisticated engine test stand houses several sensors,[data acquisition features and to control the engine state. The sensors would measure several physical variables of interest which typically include: Torque and angular velocity Fuel consumption rates Air-fuel ratio Temperature and gas pressures Information gathered through the sensors is often processed and logged through data acquisition systems. Actuators allow for attaining a desired engine state (often characterized as a unique combination of engine torque and speed). ==Engine test stand applications== Research and Development of engines, typically at an OEM laboratory Tuning of in-use engines, typically at service centers or for racing applications End of production line at an OEM factory
KEB Operator Keypad
The operator is used exclusively for the operation, remote control or networking of a COMBIVERT F5. The used semiconductors and components of KEB are developed and dimensioned for the use in industrial products. If the KEB COMBIVERT F5 is used in machines, which work under exceptional conditions or if essential functions, life-supporting measures or an extraordinary safety step must be fulfilled, the necessary reliability and security must be ensured by the machine builder. Supply and Regeneration systems
In addition to motor movement adapted to process variables, generator loading cycles also frequently occur with electric drives, where the energy is often "heated" in ballast circuits. KEB supply and regeneration systems offer energy-optimized solutions for power compensation within a system or direct regeneration of excess power in the supplying network. COMBIVERT R6 – provides industrial network power regeneration in intermittent duty, typically installed as a single-axis system or in parallel connection with a regeneration choke or harmonic filters, implemented technically with block modulation and available for outputs of 11 kW to 900 kW. AFE Solutions – provide sinusoidal network supply and network regeneration with "PFC" (power factor correction) and internal voltage boost converter. They can be used in temporary or continuous network supply and regeneration. For output up to 100kVA certification to CEI-0-21 is available.
EMC Filters
COMBILINE Radio interference filters Drives with rectifier supply produce low and high frequency system interference with their pulse-type charging currents, which are limited by EMC regulations. Compliance with standards is ensured with universal EMC filters for individual interference suppression on the drive controller or as a central filter, designed for complete installation in a control cabinet. COMBILINE radio interference filters are designed for an industrial environment or the residential sector, and are available for rated currents up to 1,000 A.
Input/Output filters
I/O filters incorporate the functions of mains supply HF filters and motor du/dt filters in a compact housing. The input filter section designed for high attenuation and low leakage current reduces line-related interference to limit value C1 according to EN 61800-3.
Harmonic Filters
Harmonic filters are KEB's innovative solution to reducing network harmonics. The units can be planned simply as a power choke right from the design stage of an electrical switchboard, for compliance with many of the international standards. An entirely new internal structure results in mains-friendly energy absorption with exceptional application properties.
COMBILINE Sine Wave Filters
The switching output voltages on frequency inverters generate additional losses in lines and moor windings, which can have a major impact on operational safety and service life of the motor insulation. COMBILINE sine wave filters limit loads to the admissible limit values and provide the necessary protection of enamel insulation and winding heads on long motor lines and special motors. Protection by sinusoidal filters in retrofitting of older installed motors with frequency inverters is particularly important for optimizing the degree of efficiency of existing installations.

This indicates that the electric motors consume more energy than any other application. Product Capability: Motors conform to relevant IS/IEC standards Customized motors designed & manufactured to suit application specific needs The most suitable solutions to extremely harsh and severe applications Motors suited for all applications i.e. Pumps, compressors, fans & blowers, conveyors, lifts, screen, vibrators, centrifuges, stone crusher and many more Preferred brand across multiple sectors like cement, construction, steel, food & beverages, water & wastewater, sugar & distilleries to name a few
SynchroVERT® IE4 Motors
SynchroVERT® IE4 Motors Our new SynchroVERT® range of IE4 motors combines high efficiency with a host of technologically superior features.
