ADHESIVES AND SEALANTS WEICON
ADHESIVES AND SEALANTS the fast, strong and universally usable power adhesive. Replaces traditional fixings like screws, pegs, rivets, etc. Speed-Flex® is pasty and stable and, thus, suitable for problem-free bonding even on vertical surfaces both in-house and outside. Many materials, like metals, plastics (except PE, PP, PTFE), concrete, marble, natural and artificial stone, ceramic, enamel, gypsum, plates of MDF, wood, flake or gypsum plaster boards can be bonded permanently to themselves and among each other.
MIXING SEALANTS WEICON
The fast, strong and universally usable power adhesive. Replaces traditional fixings like screws, pegs, rivets, etc. Speed-Flex® is pasty and stable and, thus, suitable for problem-free bonding even on vertical surfaces both in-house and outside. Many materials, like metals, plastics (except PE, PP, PTFE), concrete, marble, natural and artificial stone, ceramic, enamel, gypsum, plates of MDF, wood, flake or gypsum plaster boards can be bonded permanently to themselves and among each other.
WEICON Easy Mix S 50 Sealant
Processing WEICON Easy-Mix products can be processed directly from the double cartridges with the help of the included static mixer. Reject the first 5 cm of the dosed bead. Apply adhesive to only one of the surfaces to be bonded. The pot life given is for a material quantity of 10 ml at room temperature. If larger quantities are used, the curing time will be faster. Similarly, higher ambient temperatures shorten the cure times (as a rule of thumb, every +10°C increase above room temperature will halve working and curing time). Temperatures below +16°C will extend working and curing times considerably, while below about +5°C, no reaction will take place at all. Storage When kept at a constant room temperature of about +20°C and unopened in dry conditions, WEICON Epoxy Adhesives will keep for at least 18 months. Avoid direct sunlight. If these storage instructions are disregarded, the storage life will be reduced to six months. Epoxy resins are fundamentally liable to crystallise at temperatures of less than +5°C. This effect is accentuated by wide variations in temperature such as can frequently occur during transport in winter. This also has a negative effect on working qualities, curing and technical details, although these effects can be reversed by warming up to a maximum of +50°C (no naked flame). In the case of WEICON Epoxy Adhesives, careful selection and combination of the base resins (bisphenol A and F) ensures a reduction of crystallisation. Lock Pen System AN 302-70
Processing WEICONLOCK is ready for use and should be applied evenly direct from the bottle/tube with the dispensing tip (avoid direct contact of dispensing tip with metal). On press fitted parts and larger cylindrical assemblies a thin and uniform layer should be applied on both surfaces. In the case of threaded blind holes fill sufficient quantity in the bore hole. On screws and bolts, apply WEICONLOCK around the thread. Do not pour back into the bottle any WEICONLOCK fluid which had contact with metal; even smallest metal particles will cause the content of the bottle to cure. In series construction, the use of manual or automatic applicators is recommended.
Structural Adhesive RK 700
Transparent high strength impact resistant, Residual elasticity WEICON Easy-Mix RK-7200 is a high strength, solvent-free and fast-curing structural adhesive. It is based on MMA (methyl methacrylate) and has an excellent adhesion on many materials. Because of the transparent curing, RK-7200 is particularly suitable for transparent joints where the bonding seam should not be visible. This adhesive can also be used for structural bondings where a coloured adhesive would not fi t optically to the construction parts. Steel Rolling Mill
Continuous Shear: Continuous shears are used in high speed bar mill. This is a low inertia shear and rotating continuously by induction motor. The divertor tube driven by servo motor is moved to cut the bar of desired length. The bar is coming continuously from the rolling mill and every time when divertor is moved the bar gets cut under the continuously rotating blades. In this case the bar is cut into pieces of desired length. The accuracy of cut length is very important. For this purpose Bharat Bijlee gives solution with BBL make induction motor fitted with absolute encoder for driving cutter blades, KEB drive with position synchronisation feature for induction motor, servo drive with servo motor for divertor tube, multi axis controller for axis control, touch screen HMI and field sensor. On sensing the front end of the bar the blade motor is put in position synchronisation with bar movement. This gives very good cut accuracy even for 1st cut.

Application Drive – COMBIVERT F6
Powerful and compact Applicable for different motor technologies and functionally prepared for the drive tasks of speed, torque and position control - these are the COMBIVERT F6 drive controllers for powers from 2.2 kW to 450 kW. They support the implementation of new machine concepts with extended requirements for performance, communication and integrated safety. With this drive generation, the operation of different motor types, real-time communication with a higher-level controller or the cooling concept in the control cabinet can be individually adapted to the requirements of the machine manufacturer.
Servo Drive – COMBIVERT S6
COMBIVERT S6 The COMBIVERT S6 is a modern, compact but flexible servo-amplifier for performance levels from 0.75kW to 7.5kW or electrical currents from 2.6A to 12.5A. Also, the drive controller provides optimum performance in torque-, speed and position control. The COMBIVERT S6 handles control for either asynchronous AC motors or synchronous servo-drives. The modular drive platform and strict consistency ensure a uniform basis throughout the range. The COMBIVERT S6 also offers a communications and safety feature designed to suit your application, to meet the demands of modern drive controllers.
Supply and Regeneration systems
In addition to motor movement adapted to process variables, generator loading cycles also frequently occur with electric drives, where the energy is often "heated" in ballast circuits. KEB supply and regeneration systems offer energy-optimized solutions for power compensation within a system or direct regeneration of excess power in the supplying network. COMBIVERT R6 – provides industrial network power regeneration in intermittent duty, typically installed as a single-axis system or in parallel connection with a regeneration choke or harmonic filters, implemented technically with block modulation and available for outputs of 11 kW to 900 kW. AFE Solutions – provide sinusoidal network supply and network regeneration with "PFC" (power factor correction) and internal voltage boost converter. They can be used in temporary or continuous network supply and regeneration. For output up to 100kVA certification to CEI-0-21 is available.
Motion Controller
The compact IPC with modular EtherCAT I/O system for automating real-time applications DIN rail mounted. Optimised processor performance of the latest ARM generation for synchronous motion control and fast switching and detecting of output and input signals. The C6 SMART offers, with a width of 47mm and additional four I/O modules and under 150mm space on the DIN rail, a compact IPC control system with 128 in- and outputs. The C6 SMART is designed for runtime environment and real-time capability. It allows control tasks that place high demands on performance and functionality, with the expectation to be cost-efficient. C6 HMI
KEB C6 HMI Operating panel KEB C6 HMI panels contain a wide range of functions made possible by our COMBIVIS HMI Studio visualization software. COMBIVIS is available in basic or advanced versions, depending on the application. Every panel has an aluminum frame with an IP66 protection rating. The top-of-the-line touch screens have brilliant displays with 16 million colors. A range of display formats are available. For added value each unit comes with remote maintenance functionality built in as standard.
EMC Filters
COMBILINE Radio interference filters Drives with rectifier supply produce low and high frequency system interference with their pulse-type charging currents, which are limited by EMC regulations. Compliance with standards is ensured with universal EMC filters for individual interference suppression on the drive controller or as a central filter, designed for complete installation in a control cabinet. COMBILINE radio interference filters are designed for an industrial environment or the residential sector, and are available for rated currents up to 1,000 A.
Input/Output filters
I/O filters incorporate the functions of mains supply HF filters and motor du/dt filters in a compact housing. The input filter section designed for high attenuation and low leakage current reduces line-related interference to limit value C1 according to EN 61800-3.
Harmonic Filters
Harmonic filters are KEB's innovative solution to reducing network harmonics. The units can be planned simply as a power choke right from the design stage of an electrical switchboard, for compliance with many of the international standards. An entirely new internal structure results in mains-friendly energy absorption with exceptional application properties.
COMBILINE Sine Wave Filters
The switching output voltages on frequency inverters generate additional losses in lines and moor windings, which can have a major impact on operational safety and service life of the motor insulation. COMBILINE sine wave filters limit loads to the admissible limit values and provide the necessary protection of enamel insulation and winding heads on long motor lines and special motors. Protection by sinusoidal filters in retrofitting of older installed motors with frequency inverters is particularly important for optimizing the degree of efficiency of existing installations.
AC Servo System 1S-series
Simplifying Motion and Safety The 1S servo drive with motion safety functionality provides protection for the machine operators from fatal injuries and shorter machine downtimes. Integrating motion safety functions into the servo drive minimize costs, components and wiring complexity. This model supports motion safety but it is even further evolved based on the concept of the standard 1S series. With the highest-level of motion control performance and safety functionality, productivity can be further improved.
G5 Series AC Servomotor/Servo Drives
The G5 series has a direct connection to the NJ controller via EtherCAT. This cool air then passes over the DE overhangs and through the rotor vents to the non-driving end and on its way absorbs heat from the overhangs and from the rotor. PMDC Motors
A PMDC motor does not have a field winding on the stator frame, instead relying on PMs to provide the magnetic field against which the rotor field interacts to produce torque. Compensating windings in series with the armature may be used on large motors to improve commutation under load. Because this field is fixed, it cannot be adjusted for speed control. PM fields (stators) are convenient in miniature motors to eliminate the power consumption of the field winding. Most larger DC motors are of the "dynamo" type, which have stator windings. Historically, PMs could not be made to retain high flux if they were disassembled; field windings were more practical to obtain the needed amount of flux. However, large PMs are costly, as well as dangerous and difficult to assemble; this favors wound fields for large machines. To minimize overall weight and size, miniature PM motors may use high energy magnets made with neodymium or other strategic elements; most such are neodymium-iron-boron alloy. With their higher flux density, electric machines with high-energy PMs are at least competitive with all optimally designed singly fed synchronous and induction electric machines. Miniature motors resemble the structure in the illustration, except that they have at least three rotor poles (to ensure starting, regardless of rotor position) and their outer housing is a steel tube that magnetically links the exteriors of the curved field magnets.
Universal (AC/DC) Motors
The universal motor is often referred to as an AC series motor. The universal motor is very similar to a DC series motor in construction, but is modified slightly to allow the motor to operate properly on AC power. This type of electric motor can operate well on AC because the current in both the field coils and the armature (and the resultant magnetic fields) will alternate (reverse polarity) synchronously with the supply. Hence the resulting mechanical force will occur in a consistent direction of rotation, independent of the direction of applied voltage, but determined by the commutator and polarity of the field coils. Universal motors have high starting torque, can run at high speed, and are lightweight and compact. They are commonly used in portable power tools and equipment, as well as many house hold appliances. They're also relatively easy to control, electromechanically using tapped coils or electronically. However, the commutator has brushes that wear, so they are much less often used for equipment that is in continuous use. In addition, partly because of the commutator universal motors are typically noisy. Even when used with AC power these types of motors are able to rotate at a frequency well above the mains supply frequency, and because most electric motor properties improve with speed, this means they can be lightweight and powerful. However, universal motors are usually relatively inefficient- around 30% for smaller motors and up to 70-75% for larger ones.

WEICON Easy Mix S 50 Sealant
Processing WEICON Easy-Mix products can be processed directly from the double cartridges with the help of the included static mixer. Reject the first 5 cm of the dosed bead. Apply adhesive to only one of the surfaces to be bonded. The pot life given is for a material quantity of 10 ml at room temperature. If larger quantities are used, the curing time will be faster. Similarly, higher ambient temperatures shorten the cure times (as a rule of thumb, every +10°C increase above room temperature will halve working and curing time). Temperatures below +16°C will extend working and curing times considerably, while below about +5°C, no reaction will take place at all. Storage When kept at a constant room temperature of about +20°C and unopened in dry conditions, WEICON Epoxy Adhesives will keep for at least 18 months. Avoid direct sunlight. If these storage instructions are disregarded, the storage life will be reduced to six months. Epoxy resins are fundamentally liable to crystallise at temperatures of less than +5°C. This effect is accentuated by wide variations in temperature such as can frequently occur during transport in winter. This also has a negative effect on working qualities, curing and technical details, although these effects can be reversed by warming up to a maximum of +50°C (no naked flame). In the case of WEICON Epoxy Adhesives, careful selection and combination of the base resins (bisphenol A and F) ensures a reduction of crystallisation. Lock Pen System AN 302-70
Processing WEICONLOCK is ready for use and should be applied evenly direct from the bottle/tube with the dispensing tip (avoid direct contact of dispensing tip with metal). On press fitted parts and larger cylindrical assemblies a thin and uniform layer should be applied on both surfaces. In the case of threaded blind holes fill sufficient quantity in the bore hole. On screws and bolts, apply WEICONLOCK around the thread. Do not pour back into the bottle any WEICONLOCK fluid which had contact with metal; even smallest metal particles will cause the content of the bottle to cure. In series construction, the use of manual or automatic applicators is recommended.

Steel Rolling Mill
Continuous Shear: Continuous shears are used in high speed bar mill. This is a low inertia shear and rotating continuously by induction motor. The divertor tube driven by servo motor is moved to cut the bar of desired length. The bar is coming continuously from the rolling mill and every time when divertor is moved the bar gets cut under the continuously rotating blades. In this case the bar is cut into pieces of desired length. The accuracy of cut length is very important. For this purpose Bharat Bijlee gives solution with BBL make induction motor fitted with absolute encoder for driving cutter blades, KEB drive with position synchronisation feature for induction motor, servo drive with servo motor for divertor tube, multi axis controller for axis control, touch screen HMI and field sensor. On sensing the front end of the bar the blade motor is put in position synchronisation with bar movement. This gives very good cut accuracy even for 1st cut.

In addition to motor movement adapted to process variables, generator loading cycles also frequently occur with electric drives, where the energy is often "heated" in ballast circuits. This cool air then passes over the DE overhangs and through the rotor vents to the non-driving end and on its way absorbs heat from the overhangs and from the rotor. PMDC Motors
A PMDC motor does not have a field winding on the stator frame, instead relying on PMs to provide the magnetic field against which the rotor field interacts to produce torque. Compensating windings in series with the armature may be used on large motors to improve commutation under load. Because this field is fixed, it cannot be adjusted for speed control. PM fields (stators) are convenient in miniature motors to eliminate the power consumption of the field winding. Most larger DC motors are of the "dynamo" type, which have stator windings. Historically, PMs could not be made to retain high flux if they were disassembled; field windings were more practical to obtain the needed amount of flux. However, large PMs are costly, as well as dangerous and difficult to assemble; this favors wound fields for large machines. To minimize overall weight and size, miniature PM motors may use high energy magnets made with neodymium or other strategic elements; most such are neodymium-iron-boron alloy. With their higher flux density, electric machines with high-energy PMs are at least competitive with all optimally designed singly fed synchronous and induction electric machines. Miniature motors resemble the structure in the illustration, except that they have at least three rotor poles (to ensure starting, regardless of rotor position) and their outer housing is a steel tube that magnetically links the exteriors of the curved field magnets.
Universal (AC/DC) Motors
The universal motor is often referred to as an AC series motor. The universal motor is very similar to a DC series motor in construction, but is modified slightly to allow the motor to operate properly on AC power. This type of electric motor can operate well on AC because the current in both the field coils and the armature (and the resultant magnetic fields) will alternate (reverse polarity) synchronously with the supply. Hence the resulting mechanical force will occur in a consistent direction of rotation, independent of the direction of applied voltage, but determined by the commutator and polarity of the field coils. Universal motors have high starting torque, can run at high speed, and are lightweight and compact. They are commonly used in portable power tools and equipment, as well as many house hold appliances. They're also relatively easy to control, electromechanically using tapped coils or electronically. However, the commutator has brushes that wear, so they are much less often used for equipment that is in continuous use. In addition, partly because of the commutator universal motors are typically noisy. Even when used with AC power these types of motors are able to rotate at a frequency well above the mains supply frequency, and because most electric motor properties improve with speed, this means they can be lightweight and powerful. However, universal motors are usually relatively inefficient- around 30% for smaller motors and up to 70-75% for larger ones.
